Today, the Starbucks team at 164 Everett Ave in Chelsea held a GREAT event dedicating the store to the Chelsea community. It highlighted key partnerships which included one of our members from our steering committee, Lisa Santagate who has partnered with Starbucks to provide food to the micro pantries in Chelsea. Way to go Lisa! Apart from highlighting key community members, there was lots of delicious coffee, empanadas and the unleashing of a beautiful mural by Chelsea native, Sury Lopez Chavez! Overall, a great event with lots of happy faces and green apron’s.

She’s the one who answers your calls, in the order we receive them. She will call you back. She does this all by herself every day with volunteers making the diaper bags. Be patient and be kind. We can not help you if you come to the door and say we have not called you back. 350 families a month get diapers and 575 families have been helped by us this year, small and mighty we are – we do our best!

¡Todos conozcan a Angélica! Ella es quien contesta tus llamadas, en el orden en que las recibimos. Ella te devolverá la llamada. Ella hace esto sola todos los días con voluntarios que hacen las bolsas de pañales. Ten paciencia y sé amable. No podemos ayudarlo si llama a la puerta y dice que no le hemos devuelto la llamada. 350 familias al mes reciben pañales y 575 familias han sido ayudadas por nosotros este año, pequeños y poderosos somos, ¡hacemos lo mejor que podemos!
