A few words about
What We Do
Our Services
CCC strives to achieve success by:
- Coordinating resources already in the community.
- Bringing out the voices of residents in planning for local resources.
- Ensuring that services meet the needs of families and communities.
Children's Clothing Closet
We provide clothing to children ages 14 and under. Our sizes run from newborn to size 14-16 for both boy and girls. All of the clothing we provide is donated by people in the community. All the clothes we provide to families in need are carefully selected and in good condition- we care about the quality of our clothes and wouldn’t give you anything we wouldn’t put on our own children.
Donate: We accept children’s clothes sizes newborn through 14-16.
This service is dependent on the donations we receive. Want to give your child’s clothes a new life/home?
Children outgrow their clothes all the time and sometimes it can be too much to store at home! DONATE them to us and we’ll provide them to families in need.
We also accept school uniforms from Chelsea’s schools, baby blankets, winter jackets and shoes for children.
Requirements: Quality is important! If you donate, please make sure the items are gently used, with no stains or rips. We will only be able to accept one bag of clothes at a time due to office capacity/space. Contact us for more information, or come by during office hours to drop off items.
Receive: Need clothes/shoes?
Call our office at 617-889-7100 to ask about clothing for your children. We provide clothes to children sizes newborn up to 14-16. The child can receive clothes once a season- one time for Summer clothes/ one time for Winter clothes . If we miss your call, leave a voicemail stating the size of clothing you need.
We also provide school uniform to several Chelsea schools, be sure to ask us.
Once you receive your child’s clothes, please wash them thoroughly. If we do not have the sizes of clothing your child needs, please call us again 2-3 weeks after. Clothes and shoes are dependent on donations!
