Last Friday, we joined GreenRoot’s Annual Evening on the Chelsea Creek Fundraiser. The night was filled with mingling, laughter, killer dance moves and delicious food! THANKS to the GreenRoots team for hosting an EPIC event!

Chelsea Community Connections office hours for June 12-June 16th, its a busy time of year – make sure you are keeping track of important dates and events happening in the community for your children & families.

Monday – Sorry we are closed, we have to be at a training all day

Tuesday – 8:30am-5:30pm

Wednesday -8:30am-5:30pm

Thursday- 8:30am-5:30pm

Friday – Closed

Don’t forget Tuesday morning – Bubbles & Babies at Kayem Park, 9:30am and Wednesday Evening – Women’s Wellness Workshop Alzheimer’s Learning Session in Spanish at 5pm at the Senior Center in Chelsea. Have a great safe and healthy week!

El horario de oficina de Chelsea Community Connections del 12 al 16 de junio: es una época muy ocupada del año: asegúrese de estar al tanto de las fechas y eventos importantes que suceden en la comunidad para sus hijos y familias.

Everyone Meet Angelica!

She’s the one who answers your calls, in the order we receive them. She will call you back. She does this all by herself every day with volunteers making the diaper bags. Be patient and be kind. We can not help you if you come to the door and say we have not called you back. 350 families a month get diapers and 575 families have been helped by us this year, small and mighty we are – we do our best!

¡Todos conozcan a Angélica! Ella es quien contesta tus llamadas, en el orden en que las recibimos. Ella te devolverá la llamada. Ella hace esto sola todos los días con voluntarios que hacen las bolsas de pañales. Ten paciencia y sé amable. No podemos ayudarlo si llama a la puerta y dice que no le hemos devuelto la llamada. 350 familias al mes reciben pañales y 575 familias han sido ayudadas por nosotros este año, pequeños y poderosos somos, ¡hacemos lo mejor que podemos!

Looking for something to do on a Wednesday night? Come spend time with us and learn about Alzheimer’s. You’ll learn ways you can help someone with the illness, and ways YOU can deal with it of you’ve been diagnosed. We’ll provide dinner, childcare and MUCH MORE!!

The weather is cold and rain this week, we hope you stay warm and dry. We wanted to inform you that June and July are months that the stores are often having school uniform sales now, The Children’s Place, GAP, Old-Navy, Target – plan ahead if you can for next school year, it will help you and your child feel prepared. Have a safe and healthy week, tea, hot chocolate and soups!
